Finally We're online!

The last time Street Savvy Boutique was open for business, we were set up at an art fair in a remote location near the White Tank Mountains of Arizona. Hundreds of people walked among the tents looking at the beautifully crafted items by each artisan. Although my little boutique doesn't fall in the artistic category, it's always well received whatever event we attend. This day was no different. We did well in sales and was able to get our name out to many of the locals. Who would have thought that first day of March would be the last day we'd be open for business for awhile.

We were scheduled to be open the following week but then the pandemic hit. Since Covid-19 was effecting hundred of thousands of people worldwide, we were under a mandated order to "social distance" to help stop the spread. We were forced into isolation and the world stopped spinning....... Ok, maybe that last part is a little too dramatic, but I'm sure you get what I'm trying to say. In the blink of an eye, our lives changed. Our children could no longer attend school, we couldn't go to jobs that weren't deemed "essential," we weren't allowed to eat at our favorite restaurant, and heaven forbid, go out and SHOP! We had to keep our distance from everyone!

Street Savvy was signed up to attend 6 events over the course of 3 months, and just like that, all were cancelled. I took time at home, researched product, snapped pictures of merchandise, and learn to sew. More importantly, I was finally able to get a website up and running. Something I had been putting off (simply because it was too much work).

I'm pretty excited about this announcement because it comes to you on our 3rd anniversary!

Finally!!! I can say "yes" to all who ask, "Do you have a website." <insert applause>

Being a small business, I have limited quantities of each item, so if you see something you like, get it online now..... who knows when we'll meet in person again.
